An afternoon of team building with Hallfield Seniors

On Friday 16th October, Year 7 enjoyed a three-hour team building session within our School field and forest.

First, they had to hone their communication skills to navigate a ‘minefield’ whilst blindfolded in special goggles, work in different roles as a team to complete the drainpipe challenges, before foraging for dry wood to build their own fires.  Not so easy after lots of October rain!  They finished by creating a larger fire and roasting marshmallows; also enjoying their first experience of s’mores, which went down a treat!

What a great way to finish their first half-term in Hallfield Seniors!
