U11 Red Team vs Solihull

The U11 girls went to Solihull for a match on Wednesday.
The red team made a good start to the match with early pressure on the Solihull defence, despite dominating possession the girls failed to convert early chances. Good turn over of the ball in defence from Aman and Leila saw many chances created. During the middle part of the half Aya ran onto a ball and slotted home for the first goal. Towards the end of the first half a super team goal with great play from Sophia, Eesha and Mia enabled Aya to grab her second. The second half saw Hallfield continue to dominate possession however, on the occasions when Solihull did manage to get through Reet was on hand with some good goalkeeping. Full of running from the midfield Mia helped to set up 2 more goals for Aya to complete a good 4-0 victory. A great game and with 4 goals Aya was voted player of the game.

U11 Green Team vs Solihull

The green team made a good start to the match creating chances against Solihull and forcing their goal keeper into some good saves. The girls moved the ball around well in attack where Mariia and Sofia B supported Daya well. By half time Daya, Mariia and Sofia T had all scored despite the best efforts of the opposition goalkeeper. During the second period of play, players rotated round and played some unfamiliar positions, Mishaal worked hard in attack, Siyana and Nicole performed well in midfield and Sylvie saved well from the opposition chances. A super final score of 3-1 to Hallfield, well done! Sofia T was voted player of the game.

Boys Sport Round-up

In a busy week we saw over 100 boys playing in fixtures against West House for the U8, U9 and U10 where we put out at least 4 teams in each year group. Most of the games were highly competitive and close results. The pick of the bunch were the U8s who between them managed to score 16 goals! Well done to everyone who played.
