We were thrilled to welcome Michelin star chef Andreas Antona to Hallfield Insights on 23 November. Andreas shared stories from a career spanning almost 50 years in the kitchens of some of the UK’s most famous hotels and restaurants including the Ritz, where he cooked food for A-List celebrities and royalty.
Guests were greeted with a glass of Champagne on arrival. The team from Andreas’ two Midlands restaurants Simpsons (Edgbaston), and The Cross (Kenilworth), then served some delicious canapés on the evening, including mushroom and truffle risotto, their take on a cheese and onion tart, coffee éclair, chocolate and salted caramel delice, and passion fruit and mango delice. Families also had the chance to get their hands on a signed copy of Andreas’ brand-new cookbook, Eureka.
A charitable evening
We were proud to have raised £2,000 from this event, which will be split between two charities chosen by Simpsons – StreetSmart and Hospitality Action.
